Oliver Castro joins Garage Films in Mexico as a director & manager. With him seven new directors also arrive at the production company: Carlos Pelayo, Matias, the duplas Bad Hombres and Lucky Twins, and renowned filmmaker Luis Mandoki. These seven new directors will bolster the current Garage Films roster in the markets where it has offices: Spain, the U. S., Mexico, and the International market in general.

Garage Films founders Albert and Oriol Uría reinforced the fiction area by creating Infinito Studios along with Daniel Posada and now in 2020 they’re venturing to launch operations in Mexico with the shooting of their first film in the North American country. If you recall, in 2019 they produced the independent film Expansivas (Argentina) in co-production with Crudo Films. They also served as Executive Co-Producers of El Sueño Bendito for Europe, a series based on the life of Maradona awaiting its premier on Amazon Prime.

The convergence of two market sectors—advertising and fiction—is intended, among other things, to generate content opportunities for agencies and brands, as well as exponentiate creativity, vision, and quality of productions and content.
